Job Summary

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Portfolio Risk Analyst. This role serves as the primary loan servicing contact for internal and external clients, supporting deal origination and execution for Asset-Based Lending transactions. Responsibilities include delivering excellent client service, providing feedback to deal structuring teams, reviewing complex credit agreements, performing quality control for new deals, overseeing loan activities, calculating and monitoring interest and fee accruals, and reconciling daily funding and payment activity.

Must Have

  • Serve as primary loan servicing contact for internal and external clients
  • Support deal origination and execution for Asset-Based Lending transactions
  • Deliver an excellent client servicing experience with timely communication and follow-through
  • Review and interpret complex credit agreements and related legal documentation
  • Perform quality control for new deals, restructures, and amendments
  • Oversee loan activities including fundings, repricings, and payments
  • Calculate and monitor complex interest and fee accruals
  • Reconcile daily funding, payment activity, and automated fund movements
  • 5+ years in commercial loan servicing or asset-based lending
  • Solid understanding of treasury products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Strong Excel skills

Kforce has a client in Charlotte, NC that is seeking a Portfolio Risk Analyst. Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary loan servicing contact for internal and external clients regarding deal execution, issue resolution, and loan activity
  • Support deal origination and execution for Asset-Based Lending transactions
  • Deliver an excellent client servicing experience with timely communication and follow-through
  • Provide feedback to deal structuring teams regarding operational trends and feasibility
  • Review and interpret complex credit agreements and related legal documentation; Collaborate with counsel when needed
  • Perform quality control for new deals, restructures, and amendments by validating system setup against credit documentation
  • Oversee loan activities including fundings, repricings, and payments in accordance with credit agreements
  • Calculate and monitor complex interest and fee accruals across multiple lenders and rate structures
  • Reconcile daily funding, payment activity, and automated fund movements; escalate past-due principal, interest, or fees as needed

Requirements

  • 5+ years in commercial loan servicing or asset-based lending
  • Strong customer service track record (1-2 years)
  • Solid understanding of treasury products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate across multiple stakeholders and departments
  • Strong analytical thinking; Able to connect data and system impacts to client outcomes
  • Highly organized, able to meet deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Strong Excel skills
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret syndicated or bilateral credit agreements (pre- and post-close)
